Gideon Nash is the Senior Pastor and Executive Leader of the church. He is an engaging speaker, using story-telling to bring out the living word of God to make it relevant and challenging. Together with his wife Irene, they have led South Street for several years. He is an experienced Pastor with a heart for people, providing counselling, mentoring and leadership to the church. Pastor Gideon and Irene also lead the Inner Healing and Deliverance ministry in South Street. Under their leadership, the church continues to grow and engage in a number of community-based outreach projects. With an extensive background in Accountancy and Theology, Pastor Gideon enjoys teaching the Bible, money management skills, and the CAP money course. Pastor Gideon spends his free time doing gardening and DIY. Gideon and Irene have three adult daughters together.
Alice Gallimore has been a part of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) since 2014. The ELT oversees the operational aspects of church ministry. Alice is also a core part of the church service and events planning of South Street. Alice leads the Ladies’ Small Group and is also part of the Watchmen team – the church’s prayer, intercession and warfare ministry. Alice is married to Lloyd and they have two children together. Alice works as a Speech and Language therapist with children with complex needs. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Yomi Ayodele joined South Street several years ago, alongside his wife Yemi. Yomi has been a pivotal part of the Eldership Team, supporting the Senior Pastor and overseeing the spiritual growth of the church. Yomi has three adult children with Yemi. He enjoys spending time with them and his grandchildren.
Lloyd Paul Gallimore has assisted the Senior Pastor for several years, and is part of the Eldership Team, providing spiritual insight and leadership to the church. Lloyd also hosts the Smiley Toast weekly community Drop-In centre. He is currently being mentored in his calling to become a powerful evangelist. He serves in the Inner Healing & Deliverance ministry of the church. Lloyd enjoys going to the cinema, reading and spending time with his family.
Irene Nash is the Administration Manager of South Street.
Pastor Irene has served on the church staff team for over 15 years; her role is to champion creative organisation and provide high quality administrative service for the church. As well as her administrative role, she is part of the Executive Leadership Team. Pastor Irene is a woman with a strong prophetic gifting; she trains the Pastoral Care Team, and together with Pastor Gideon she teaches the church’ vision pathway, and ministers Inner Healing & Deliverance in the church. She is also part of the church service and events planning team. In her spare time, Irene enjoys exercising, gardening and watching home improvement shows.
Christin Abdelsaeed has been a member of the church staff since April 2016, working part-time as the Finance Officer. With a background in Accounting and banking, Christin works hard in her role and aids the Finance Team in its day to day functions. Christin enjoys listening to music and reading. She has two young children.
Tracey Nash has been the Administration Officer at South Street for the past three years. She manages all online correspondence for the church, including the church website and the social media presence. With degrees in English Literature and Law, Tracey assists Irene in the event management and creative elements of church services at South Street. Having joined the Worship Team at the age of 12 years old, Tracey is the current Worship Leader in the church. She is also being mentored in the church as a teacher to bring revelation in the word of God to make people committed disciples of Jesus. Her passions are writing, baking and travelling.
Emma Harris is the leader and overseer of the Children’s Ministry, First Steps (2-4 yrs.) and Quest (5-9 yrs.) Emma’s desire is to bring creativity into Sunday schools, in ways that will engage and encourage children to want to know more about Jesus. Outside of church, Emma is a Scientist with a doctorate degree, and currently works as a Secondary School Maths teacher. Emma is married with two children. She spends her free time with friends, family and her pets; cat, dog and horse.
Monica Nganga is the head of the Creative Arts ministry. Creative Arts comprise of dance, drama and poetry, all of which aid the worship services. Having grown up in the same ministry, Monica understands the passion and creativity this adds to the church services. Her desire is to encourage others to worship through creative expressions. Monica is also part of the Inner Healing & Deliverance ministry in the church. Monica currently works as an Administrator. She enjoys all Art forms, especially music, dance and poetry.
Funmi Kola-Ojo oversees the Hospitality ministry, which serves refreshments in all our services and community events. Funmi desires to see her team serve with excellency and joy, to help bring the spirit of community into every service. In her free time, Funmi enjoys dancing, cooking and cleaning.
David Osbourne is part of the Building Maintenance team. His role is to ensure that the church building remains in a safe condition for use during all services and events. Outside of church, David works as a bus driver. David is married to Emma, and in his free time he enjoys watching rugby and is currently learning to play golf.
Declan Egan is part of the Building Maintenance team. He makes sure that the church complies with all health and safety regulations. Declan works as a Lecturer in Building and Construction. He is married to Kalleen with one son. Declan enjoys foosball (table football) and slate carving.
Samuel Leary is the leader of the PA Team, which manages the sound, recording and visuals throughout each service. The PA Team work closely with the Worship team and Creative Arts team to enhance the worship services. Sam is married to Ruth and they have a baby daughter together. Sam works as a Fund Manager and his hobbies and interests are Marvel DC comics, Martial Arts and Physics.
Kemmy Majiyagbe oversees the Finance (Counting & Recording) Team. This ministry is responsible for counting and recording any cash money that comes through the church. This includes tithes, offering and other donations, or fundraising events. Outside of church Kemmy is an entrepreneur, developing and running her own business. Her hobbies include baking, listening to music and watching movies.
Temi Busari is the chief Usher of the welcome team at South Street. Alongside his team, Temi welcomes every visitor into the church. The Ushers assist in our church services, as well as working behind the scenes to ensure that the less able-bodied can enter the building with ease. Temi works in Data Admin and is married to Tobi; they have two young sons together. His hobbies and interests are politics, cooking, computer games and working out.
